Red Mountain and Blue Deuce Entertainment in conjunction with The nTelos Wireless Pavilion are proud to announce the 5th Annual Top of the Hops Beer Festival presented by Starr Hill Brewery and Beer Run. Charlottesville's favorite Fall event returns Saturday, September 20th at The nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The last two year’s the event sold out and organizers expect to see record crowds again for the 2014 festival which will once again showcase craft beers from around the world. Patrons will receive a commemorative sampling mug and have access to two-ounce samples of over 150 world-class craft beers and ciders in seven Beer Gardens. The festival will also feature the Brew University Education Area where patrons will enjoy educational beer seminars.

2014 will see the return of the Cider Garden with handpicked ciders, the Import Garden featuring great imports from around the world, the Cask Garden, featuring casks from select breweries tapped throughout the afternoon, and the uber-competitive corn hole tournament! Will Overman Band will perform on the pavilion stage.

Upgrade to the Top of the Hops VIP Experience! VIP Tickets will gain patrons access to the festival one hour early to take advantage of a more exclusive beer tasting experience. The VIP ticket allows entry into the private VIP Area with complimentary food from 3pm – 6pm and an exclusive beer selection not available to the general public. George Washburn will perform during VIP hour.

Early bird tickets to the Top of the Hops Beer will be $40 from July 18th – September 1st, $45 from September 2nd – 19th and $50 at the door on September 20th. VIP tickets are $75 in advance and $85 at the door, if not sold out. General Admission Designated Driver ticket are available for $15 and a VIP Designated Driver ticket are $30 for those patrons that will not be sampling beer.

The last couple Top of the Hops Beer Festivals SOLD OUT, so patrons are encouraged to get their tickets early! Tickets will be available at 10am on Friday, July 18th and at Beer Run at 156 Carlton Road, Charlottesville, VA. Special hotel & ticket packages will be available at the Red Roof Inn.
