Bassist, Vic Brown was inspired into the world of music during his youth by family and friends starting with guitar and then moving onto bass during high school years. His playing style leans in the directions of funk and gospel, expressed with internationally known artists and various bands as well as First Baptist Church on West Main Street where he serves as an instrument of praise. Current influences are Marcus Miller and Fred Hammond. Check out victor brown and “his fingers of renown”.

Drummer, Jeff Louderback followed in his father’s footsteps with stick lessons beginning at age 7, followed by marching band, concert band and jazz band through his years in school. His style ranges from funk to rock and gospel shuffles all inspired by carter beauford, quest love and billy cobham.

“Professor” Haga began his musical career as a bassist with a missed opportunity to join in todd rudgren’s band with childhood friend, roger powell, then settled into study trumpet and keyboards at shenandoah conservatory. Skip's musical connections include performing with various other local bands and occasional solo gigs promoting his cd, “Hogwaller Woman”.

Andy Rowland and his saxophone studies began in middle school moving from baritone to tenor then specializing in alto. musical inspirations include one of his early teachers, moe martel as well as Grover Washington, Jr., giving andy his expressive, inspirational and emotional soloing ability.

Aric Van Brocklin with a family move from Upstate New York to New Orleans, LA. Middle school trombone lessons turned into an interest in slide and standard tuned guitar styles leading to participation in bands from NOLA to New York, New Jersey and then Central Virginia. Musical influences range from Jimmy Reed to Jimi Hendrix.

The goal of the Sprint Pavilion is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for all of our patrons, our performers, and our staff. With that in mind, beginning in 2018, we will enact new security procedures to make sure that prohibited or dangerous items are not brought into the venue. For all events, including Fridays After Five, patron points of entry will be limited and there will be a bag check for any packages brought inside the gates.  We encourage our patrons to travel light but, if you do have bags or packages with you, plan for the entry to take a few moments as our staff inspects the bags. We appreciate your patience so that we can all feel safe. Unfortunately, we do not offer any bag check so please familiarize yourself with our list of prohibited items and leave them at home.

For all ticketed events, we will be instituting a higher level of security. All patrons will be asked to walk through our metal detectors after emptying their pockets of any metal objects. Patrons may opt for a pat down inspection should they choose. We will have plenty of lines open and we hope that this procedure will flow smoothly and not delay your entrance to the venue. Should you bring bags with you to ticketed events, we will still need to inspect the parcel prior to you passing thru the metal detectors. Once again, we appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the safety of all of our patrons.
